CNIW Foundation Co-Chair (Community Eneagement): Mr. Cheng Zeng
Cheng Zeng (曾诚）is the Research & Development Manager at KIRCHHOFF Automotive North America , where he has led technology development and process research projects in lightweight materials and joining, advanced process technologies development and implementation, continuous improvement since 2011. His innovations have resulted in multiple patents and successful production implementations. Cheng was the Vice Dean of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, East China Jiaotong University, and has published several papers and presented at numerous industry conferences. Cheng holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Queen’s University, a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from East China Jiaotong University, and a Business Innovation Management Certificate from University of Toronto. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario and an active community leader, serving as Executive President of the Canada-China Economic Trade and Cultural Exchange Promotion Alliance (CCEA) from 2017, Honorary president of East China Jiaotong University North America Alumni Association. He also served as Vice President of the Confederation of Chinese Alumni Associations(CCAA) for the 1st and 2nd terms.
