Chinese Immigrants’ Perceptions and knowledge toward COVID-19 in
Canada
Introduction:
Thank you very much for your time in participating in this survey.
This survey is part of the study funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). The study is named “Mobilizing the Chinese Immigrant Community and Battling the Potential COVID-19 Outbreak in the Greater Toronto Area: Gathering essential information, creating a mutual support
quarantine network and assessing psychological impacts”.
The response collected through this survey will help the research team to better understand Chinese immigrants/residents’ perceptions towards the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada, which aims to inform public health sectors to develop relevant interventions for this specific population. This survey has been approved by the Ethics Committee and it will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. To guarantee the accuracy of data, please avoid multiple entries by the same individual.
After the questionnaire is completed, your answers will be transmitted to the data collection platform embedded in the survey system, and the research team will conceal your identifiers.
The research team will use all possible means to protect your personal information.

Assessing Psychological Impact of the COVISD-19 in the GTA Chinese Community through Online Survey。 This online anonymous and volunary survey is part of the study funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). The study is named “Mobilizing the Chinese Immigrant Community and Battling the Potential COVID-19 Outbreak in the Greater Toronto Area: Gathering essential information, creating a mutual support
quarantine network and assessing psychological impacts." This survey aims to assess the psychological impacts of the potential COVID-19 and the associated predictors. Based on an Online survey, we will adopt quantitative research methods to assess the psychological impacts of the potential outbreak on psychological health and wellbeing, and to identify the associated predicting factors (individual or environmental), in the GTA Chinese community.
This survey has been approved by the Ethics Committee and it will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. To guarantee the accuracy of data, please avoid multiple entries by the same individual
