In this lecture, Professor Chris Kaposy will present findings on vaccine hesitancy and vaccine misinformation targeting new immigrant communities before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic. He will then discuss ideas about how to prevent the uptake of misinformation in new immigrant communities.

About the Speaker
Chris Kaposy is a Professor in the Centre for Bioethics and the Division of Population Health and Applied Health Sciences at Memorial University. He is also the Director of Memorial’s Master of Health Ethics program and provides clinical ethics services for the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Professor Kaposy is the author of two books, and his main research interests include public health ethics and reproductive ethics.
