Dr. Mark Chen （陈平安） is the CEO and Co-Founder of Dawn InfoTek Inc., an IT consulting company he established in 1997. Under his leadership, the firm has grown to over 100 employees, providing cutting-edge monitoring technology solutions to major financial institutions across Canada. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from Carleton University and transitioned from engineering to IT, where he now leads technological innovations in the banking sector. His company has earned multiple awards, including the ACCE Most Progressive Award (2018), and was listed among Canada’s Top 500 Fastest Growing Companies (2019). Mark also actively contributes to the community, serving as the Founder and President of both the Canada Green Sharks Golf Association and the Angus Cup Chinese Golf Invitational Tournament. With extensive leadership experience in both corporate and non-profit sectors, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the CNIW Foundation.
