Fangli Xie graduated from the School of Public Health at West China University of Medical Sciences, later earning an MSc in Biology from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Public Health from the University of Toronto.
Mrs. Xie works as an Epidemiologist at a local public health unit in Ontario. She has extensive experience in public health, specializing in program evaluation, health surveillance, infectious disease epidemiology, and public health data analysis. Her work also focuses on evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) and knowledge translation.
In addition, Mrs. Xie has expanded her expertise into the immigration sector as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), assisting temporary visitors and new immigrants from China. She is also a certified Mandarin-English community interpreter through CILISAT.
