CNIW Press: September, 2026
The Fourth Annual CNIW Charity Golf Tournament was successfully held on September 5, 2026, at Royal Stouffville Golf Course. Organized by the CNIW Foundation and title-sponsored by Kee Plus Realty, the event once again brought together community members, supporters, volunteers, and friends of CNIW for a day of golf, friendship, and charitable giving.
Since its launch in 2023, the annual tournament has become an important fundraising and community-building event for CNIW. Funds raised through the tournament support CNIW’s mandate of promoting the health and well-being of Chinese and other immigrant communities through research, health education, knowledge dissemination, and community service. Particular emphasis is placed on cancer prevention and control, community health education, and training and mentoring young people to participate in immigrant health research and community service.
“The Charity Golf Tournament is much more than a sporting event. It brings our community together in support of a shared mission—improving immigrant health and investing in the next generation,” said Dr. Peizhong Peter Wang, President of CNIW. “We are particularly committed to cancer prevention and control, vaccination, and to creating opportunities for young students to gain experience in health research and community service.”
