Lisa Fang is a third-year Medical Sciences student at Western University, specializing in Biochemistry and Pathology of Human Disease. With a strong foundation in research and healthcare support, Lisa has gained hands-on experience across diverse roles that bridge health sciences, mentorship, and public health. Her recent work as a Research Assistant at the Centre for New Immigrant Well-Being (CNIW) involved designing cancer screening surveys and developing healthcare literacy programs for Chinese immigrant communities.

Lisa also serves as a Biochemistry Mentor with the Western Biochemistry Club, guiding students through foundational topics and creating educational materials to enhance their learning experience. Her experience as a Medical Office Assistant and Inpatient Care Unit Assistant has provided her with a solid grounding in patient care and healthcare operations, complementing her academic pursuits.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Lisa is dedicated to reducing healthcare barriers and promoting accessible medical education. She aims to continue contributing her skills in research, mentorship, and patient support as she progresses toward a career in healthcare.
