Yang (Lyona) Lou
Yang (Lyona) Lou is a dedicated undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, majoring in Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Physiology. With a passion for life sciences, she brings a blend of academic rigor and leadership to her endeavors. Lyona has hands-on experience in advanced analytical techniques, gained during her internship as an Analytical Laboratory Technician Assistant at Henan Huafeng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., where she specialized in chromatography systems and heavy metal analysis.

As the President of the Center for New Immigrant Well-Being (CNIW) University of Toronto Student Chapter, Lyona has demonstrated exceptional leadership and organizational skills. She has successfully executed campus-wide health initiatives, including a meningitis awareness campaign in partnership with a vaccine company.

A skilled violinist, Lyona performs with the University of Toronto Campus Philharmonic Orchestra, balancing her artistic pursuits with her academic and extracurricular commitments. She is also an active volunteer with MoveU, promoting health and wellness through campus events.

Proficient in English and Mandarin, with expertise in video editing and Microsoft Office, Lyona enjoys swimming, yoga, and badminton in her free time.
