Yanning Li is a Bachelor of Science candidate in Health Promotion at Dalhousie University, bringing a strong academic foundation in community health, injury prevention, and multicultural health promotion. She is bilingual in English and Chinese and holds certifications in CPR, first aid, and AED use.
Yanning has gained valuable experience as an organizer for health-centered events, such as a family game night initiative at Ronald McDonald House, applying human-centered design to foster inclusive and stress-free environments. Her research endeavors include independently published works on cancer immunotherapy and the impact of teacher-student relationships on mental health, showcasing her skills in analyzing and synthesizing complex health issues.
Her professional experience includes serving as an Administrative Assistant and Logistics Coordinator at Bethune Memorial School, where she developed nutritious meal plans, managed social media strategies, and strengthened communication between students, parents, and the school. Yanning has also contributed as a customer management assistant in media advertising, excelling in client relations and operational efficiency.
Yanning is passionate about improving health outcomes through education, evidence-based policy, and community-driven initiatives.
