Academic and Professional Backgrounds

Dr. Xue Li graduated with a doctoral degree in Nutrition and Food Safety and a postdoctoral fellow in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She is currently an Associate Research Fellow in the Department of Food Safety and Toxicology within the School of Public Health at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.

Professional Affiliations

Dr. Xue Li is engaged in multiple professional roles aside from her work, including as a reviewer for the SCI Journal, a member of the Chinese Mutagen Society – Exposure Science Committee, Director of the Shanghai Toxicology Society, and a member of the Chinese Sleep Research Society – Biological Rhythm Committee. She is sitting on the Research and Development consulting team for Canada Optimal Nature.

Research Interest

She has been engaged in nutrition epidemiology research and big data modelling analysis for many years, and has carried out multi-centre cohort research studies on the correlations between nutrition, metabolism and chronic diseases in many regions of China. She mainly focus on the effects of nutrition and life style on diseases associated with abnormal glycolipid metabolism.

Hobbies

Dr. Li enjoys writing literature and playing piano in her leisure time.
