Yanqing Teng-Centre for New Immigrant Well-Being (CNIW)

Yanqing (Julian) Teng is a seasoned psychotherapist and psychiatrist with over three decades of experience in mental health care. A registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), Julian is also affiliated with the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation and The Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals. He is the founder of Amind Psychotherapy & Counselling and Oaktree Counselling Centre in Toronto, where he has been providing compassionate care and mental health support since 2011.

Julian's extensive career spans roles as a harm reduction counselor, mental health crisis worker, and practicing psychiatrist in both Canada and China. He holds an MD from Harbin Medical University and a Master's degree in Mental Health from Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical School. His expertise includes addiction studies, crisis intervention, and psychotherapeutic counseling, with a strong commitment to promoting holistic and patient-centered care.
