A two year pilot study on people’s experiences of living with autoimmune condition titled “Autoimmunity, Self, and Society: A Sociological Approach to Chronic Illness in the Wake of SARSCoV-2” is calling for participants. This project is led by Dr. Michael Nijihawan, a cultural socialist and anthropologist with two decades of research experiences with vulnerable communities. The purpose of this study is to explore people’s experiences with chronic autoimmune illness before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
