Invitation for CNIW Summer Camp Students to Present Research at Canadian National Academic Conferences

Since the initiation of the Research Summer Camp and Summer Student Projects by the CNIW in 2021, more than a dozen students have participated and engaged in several research projects. Some of the research outcomes have been accepted by multiple academic conferences and the students have been invited to present their findings at the Annual Meeting of the American Epidemiological Society, the Annual Meeting of the American Public Health Association, and the Annual Meeting of the Canadian Public Health Association, etc.

Recently, there’s more good news from the students who participated in the 2023 Research Summer Camp: several students’ research abstracts have been accepted by the 2024 Annual Canadian Infectious Disease Conference and the Canadian Public Health Conference, and they have been invited to share their findings at these academic conferences. These two national academic conferences will be held in Vancouver (April 9th to 12th) and Halifax (April 22nd to 25th) respectively. At that time, the CNIW and the CNIW Foundation will partially sponsor these students to attend the conference in the form of Travel Awards.
